The Weiss Group, Inc. Biography The Weiss Group (TWG) evolved from a simple concept. When Kenneth H. Weiss and Associates was established in 1963, its founder's perception was that the fledgling retirement planning industry: Had to provide sophisticated services that simplify plan selection and administration for sponsors; and That those services had to be provided by an organization having no conflict of interest in the selection and administration process. That belief still drives TWG as evidenced by its mission statement, "Committed to the delivery of superior, cost efficient services tailored to meet the individual needs of each of its clients". TWG staff includes members with one or more of the following professional designations: Enrolled Actuary (EA) Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) Member American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) Member American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) TWG is accredited with the Continuing Professional Education Program of the State of Illinois Department of Registration and Education and the Indiana State Board of Public Accountancy.  Such accreditation authorizes TWG to grant Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit to CPAs.  CPE seminars are regularly conducted.
